Our Name is Trash

Everyone asks us, “How did you come up with your band name?”

The band members met while taking individual instrument lessons at the School of Rock in Katy, TX. Evelyn, the drummer, formed the band in July of 2022, after she was kicked out of a now-defunct band she was previously in with her ex-boyfriend.

After Evelyn broke up with her ex, he kicked her out of the old band via text message (which he later sincerely apologized for).

Evelyn, her ex, and the band are all friends now, but here’s the backstory, told by Evelyn on “Houston Life,” Houston NBC affiliate KPRC TV’s magazine show. Watch the video below!
