Garbage Girlfriend is the embodiment of teenage rebellion and empowerment, hailing from the heart of Katy, Texas. Their journey began in July 2022 when the band's founder, fueled by the aftermath of her first breakup, decided to channel her emotions into music. When her ex labeled her a garbage girlfriend via text, and he said,  "...you're a really nice person, but you were a garbage girlfriend," little did he know he was inadvertently christening the birth of a rock sensation.

Since then, Garbage Girlfriend has been igniting stages across Greater Houston with their electrifying performances. From headlining KPRC TV's Crawfish Fest at Houston's Discovery Green to rocking the crowds at iconic venues like Typhoon Texas, BFE Rock Club, and Acadia Bar & Grill, these girls are a force to be reckoned with.

Their infectious energy and undeniable talent have earned them a loyal following, and they've even graced the screens of thousands of households across Houston with live performances on the esteemed local NBC show, Houston Life.

With a repertoire that spans classic rock, alt rock, and pop punk, Garbage Girlfriend delivers a high-octane fusion of beloved covers and original compositions that leave audiences begging for more. Each member brings their unique flair to the stage, from Evelyn's powerhouse drumming to Mya and Liv's dynamic vocal harmonies, complemented by Christy's shredding guitar riffs and Ciona's grooving bass lines.
